The lack of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is one of the main challenges faced by the Philippines in battling the spread of Covid-19 pandemic. Our government is doing what it can to protect our frontliners, but in order to do this they also need support from the private sector and cooperation from everyone.
PBO Global is one with the Clark Investors and Locators Association (CILA) in answering the call for solidarity in this pressing time. In support of this purpose, PBO Global has initiated to raise funds to provide Vitamins and PPEs to local government health units and private hospitals in areas of Clark, Tarlac and Pampanga.
It is important to focus on our frontliners because they are the people who are in the charge in implementing mechanisms to control the transmission of the virus. Moreover, they are the ones who take care those who were exposed and have obtained the virus. Managing the spread of the virus is a long-term battle at which their lives are at stake. The PPEs and vitamins are our ways to protect those who protect us. It is our hope that through this simple effort, we can help our frontliners on performing their call of duty.
This donation drive is a joint aid from PBO Global, its’ corporate networks, business affiliates and PBO Global employees. PBO Global will continuously take initiative and find ways on how its’ existing technology, resources, networks and talents can be of help to the community.
Our fight against the Covid-19 pandemic may be far from over but we hold that collective community efforts will be our winning strategy.
